Since June 16th, we have had a total of 8" of rain on the golf course. This has lead to 'cart path only' for a number of these days. The reason we put carts on path is not to upset golfers. It is to prevent mud tracks, slides, carts getting hung up, spin outs, and just dangerous situations. Even the slightest driving off the path to save yourself 3 feet of walking can cause damage, as seen in the picture:
The maintenance staff is working hard with the conditions Mother Nature has given them to maintain the golf course. We have gone a few days of no mowing, which leads to shaggy tees and fairways, and tall rough. Please bare with us during these rainy days, as we are just as frustrated with it as you are.We appreciate your patience and understanding.
