Club Championship

The Golf Courses of Kenton County will be hosting its Club Championship on The Willows course this weekend, July 18 & 19.  The maintenance staff is working hard to get the course ready, but due to rain the last couple days, we have had very wet conditions hindering them the ability to mow.  The ground is saturated, not able to take in any more water, causing it to stay on top of the ground.  But as the pros say, 'you tailor your game to the course, the course doesn't tailor itself to the golfer.'  With that in mind, 1" of rain in two days and possible more on it's way, it can lead to tall rough, hard/wet bunkers, slower greens, less roll, etc.  Play the course to it's conditions.  Good luck to all those participating!
